When contacting Ford about a specific vehicle, please try to have the vehicle's current mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) available. A VIN is 17-characters composed of numbers and letters. It is found on a metal tag affixed above the instrument panel or in your vehicle documentation (registration, insurance policy, lease or promissory note).
